Ian has spent over 40 years working in Financial Services, having joined Equity and Law in 1973.  He set up his own company in 1985, which he ran until April 2009 when Ian and his clients joined P W White & Partners Ltd.

Ian has acted as a facilitator on many courses run by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Personal Finance Society (PFS).
